I get asked a lot about my smoothie recipes so below are a few of my favorites!  I’ve been into smoothies since I was young and use them as my primary lunch on a daily basis.  Growing up in a southern part of the U.S., smoothies were traditionally seen more like milkshakes or snow cones….s something sweet like a dessert or iced cream.  However, as I grew in my understanding of nutrition, I began to learn that smoothies can b used as full meals and be incredibly healthy without the high sugar content or iced cream type feel.
